is there an annual fee? While some credit card issuers do still charge an annual fee, there are so many that don’t, so choose a card where there isn’t one
do you get free travel accident insurance? Check out the small print if your card does offer this benefit as it may be subject to terms and conditions, such as paying for the holiday in full on your card
is the card affiliated with a charity? You can get charity credit cards where the credit card provider makes a small donation to a specified charitable cause when the card is taken out and sometimes every time a purchase is made. And at no additional cost to the card holder.
is there protection if your card is used fraudulently online so that you have no liability is someone else runs up a bill on your card?
